Shine

Shine I heard many who prayed to shine for Jesus in work, play, church, or family. The term shine was used to describe good testimony, to be a good example, to behave the right way, or to reflect Jesus in some ways. The writers of the Bible embraced such desire. They encourage every believer to shine. How can one shine for christ Jesus? The writer of Hebrew (which is not disclosed) makes this statement. Hebrews 12:14 KJV Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: Peace with all men and holiness were tied to reflecting God in some ways. Believers must learn to live in peace with ALL men. Not some, not with people you like, not with people of a certain race or skin color, or people of some denominations, but all men. That reflects God. Holiness is consecration. Setting aside time, money, usage of words, the act of kindness, abstain from certain food, and many more as an act of service or gift to God. Realizing that all things done in the body have spiritual significance. With these, the writer of Hebrew claimed that others will see God. Isn't that fascinating?
