Are you Thirsty?

Jesus was called the Rock in 1 Corinthians 4:10 referring to the rock the Israelites drank from in the wilderness. Have you ever been thirsty? I remembered a time the school brought us for hiking. We were told to bring water. As a young child, I totally disregard it, thinking that I can get a drink after the hike. I can remember when we were given a break at the midpoint, everyone was drinking water but I did not felt that thirty to ask for a drink. The journey carried on until we reach the summit. I start to felt the thirst and the need for water. I was then to shy to ask for a drink. It was until a friend of mine saw me sitting alone and he offered me a drink. It was the most refreshing experience with plain water. Nothing tasted better. I will bring water the next time for such a trip. It is a must. It is life-saving. When Jesus was referred to the rock that gave out water in the wilderness, I can almost relate to that time when I was thirty. It is essential, refreshing, and life-saving. May we learn to rely on this living water. Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water. (John 4:10 KJV)
