In John 8:32 Jesus made a statement, “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” ‭‭Since then many Christian devout themselves to study God's word believing that knowing the truth can change them. However, it is applying the truth that changes lives. For example, when you learn that lifting weight can build muscles and strength, you will not grow stronger having that knowledge. You have to apply it. You have to start lifting weights and then you can experience the increase in strength and then notice a visible change of your physique. That is the same thing about truth. Our Lord Jesus stated that He did everything that pleases the Lord in verse 29 of that same chapter. That was a key connection to verse 32.

May we begin to apply what we learn in scriptures. May we learn to apply truth in our lives so that it can liberates us.
