It is impossible to play chords with a one-string guitar. God's purpose for the gathering of God's people (or church) is to accomplish something that we cannot do alone. However mature one may be, we are not equally effective in every area of our life. Some of us are excellent communicators, some have great compassion, others are natural helpers...etc The guitar is designed to play a variety of music. One of them is chords. Chords are made up of a few notes combined to harmonize together. Musicians use chords to accompany melodies. God's people are like huge spiritual instruments that God uses to play chords and melodies so that His music can resonate with His world. May we learn to participate in the spiritual orchestra as an essential note that the Lord can use to touch many lives.
