There was once a man of God in the time of King Jeroboam. He prophecied that Josiah from the line of David shall execute judgement on the priests in Bethel because the altar was self erected. King Jeroboam wanted to lay his hands on the man of God but his hand withered and was later restored when the man of God prayed for him. Even the king had no power over the man of God. The altar of Bethel did rent and ash spilled the ground. The creator of the universe is always at work. His purpose will come to pass. The Bible recorded for us many things that He is going to do and as believers, we should be found proclaiming it to everyone. God promised redemption for a lost world, forgiveness for every known sin, and strength for every tough journey. That is the best news ever.
