When King Ahaziah became ill and decided to consult Baal-zebub. The anger of the Lord was kindled and Isaiah the prophet received word from God that the king shall not recover.
The king then sent troops of fifty to visit Isaiah. The king did not show signs of remorse. He thought military power would pressure Isaiah to comply with his request. Instead of coming down, Isaiah called out a fire to consume the troop of 50. That happened twice. The third troops learned to humble themselves as Isaiah was the spokesman of God in their time.
Isaiah then told them that the king will die because he sought not God but Baal-zebub. The king never came down from bed alive.
This sad history in 2 Kings 1 teaches us that we must never seek anyone else besides God and must always be humbled before Him.
Naaman learned that and was healed of leprosy in the later chapter.
