To be the body of Christ is more than a gathering of a group of people with the same belief. Jesus did the ministry of preaching, teaching, healing, and casting out demons. Later Jesus' disciples did the ministry of preaching, teaching, healing, and casting out demons. Now, what do you expect the church to be involved in? You are right. The ministry of preaching, teaching, healing, and casting out demons. Jesus said these words in John 14:12-14 KJV Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it. Jesus did not instruct his disciples to pray that He would do something to the person in need. Jesus said the work He did the disciples will do. Greater things will they do. Greater things? What greater things have you and I do?

May we learn to be active in doing the work Jesus did. Preach the word, teach doctrines from the Bible, heal the sick, and deliver people from the grip of the devil. It will be tragic if the end of the day it is us that refuse to do the work rather than the work cannot be done.
