The culture, society, educational system, and upbringing has tremendous influence over us. Along the way we see people picking up habits that were not part of the Christian behaviour like when they sneeze some would say," Bless you." While others cross their fingers to leave matters to God. All these are not bad habits but they are certainly cultural and not scriptural. When we came to know Christ Jesus, we became influence by scriptures instead of culture. There are some things we gave up totally and some things we are learning to change. The Bible uses different terms to describe the change. In one place it was called the fruit of the Holy Spirit and in other places, it was called the renewing of the mind. Many a time these changes are progressive. Spiritual maturity is measured by the consistency of behavior in diverse places.
