If you keep track on Joshua, you will notice something significant. God repeated His wonders and His instructions as He deed as He did with Moses. Entering the promised land Canaan, God parted the Jordan river (repeat of Red Sea), command the people to be circumcised (as almost the whole old generation with Moses died in the wilderness) and each tribe to carry a stone to build an altar. These were the same commands and deed by former leader Moses. Joshua 5. Joshua then led the people into multiple victories in the promised land. This tells us that God is consistent with His requirements from His people. Faith, worship, work, obedience, and love rendered to Him.
