The story was told a God believer went for a sail and his boat was destroyed in a storm and he was left stranded in a lone island.
He started praying to be rescued but time went by and no one seemed to come his way.
He picked up hunting skills for food and also built a hut as shelter. He stored food and useful survival items in the hut and begin to think he can survive the unfriendly environment. He missed his family a lot though. He would exchange the stuff for time with his family.
One day when he came back from a hunting trip he saw the hut burnt up in smoke! He could not help but cry and shouted at God, "Why? Why? You are not helpful at all God!"
Later that evening the man sat at the coast dispaired of God and life, a ship passed by and rescued him.
On the ship, he went to personally thank the Captain. The conversation went on to how the ship sailed towards the island.
The captain responded, “We were voyaging across the ocean when we noticed on the horizon a column of smoke going up. We decided to go check it out and when we did, that’s when we found you!”
In a life with God, something else is recovered in the mist of losing something.Author of the story unknown.
