Often we stumble upon this statement proclaimed by Our Lord Jesus, "Those who have Ears let them Hear." In Matthew Chapter 13, we read that the disciples did not understand the parables spoken by Jesus.  They did one thing though. They asked the Lord to explain the meaning of the parables. They were not passive when they have trouble understanding. The Lord explained the meaning of the parables clearly to his disciples and ended with a question, "Have you understood?" We can see that Jesus never reject people who seriously seek to understand his teachings. What a relief! What assurance that is to us. Let's seek and ask Jesus to teach us his kingdom's truth when we have our devotions.
