Rushing Pass the Burning Bush

If we were Moses, would we rush pass the burning bush? Every day, we go through a series of routines and work. We thread familiar grounds, again and again, days after days, months after months, and years after years. One day Moses was attracted to the burning bush and later was reminded that he was treading on holy ground. For that many years, Moses had not regarded the very ground he was treading upon was holy. My wife and I took a walk in the park this morning. It was a ground we threaded before. Along the way, we saw a couple. The wife was taking pictures of the husband and their baby in the stroller. We offered to take a picture of them. We saw smiles on their faces and we shared that we had our 16th wedding anniversary just 2 days back. They congratulated us with a big smile! Later we saw a snail crossing the walkway. My wife decided to help it get past the busy road before it gets crushed by foot. We took a picture of it. All these could not happen if we have not slowed down, observed, and involved. We hope we will not rush pass the burning bush. The best place to find God is here. Right where you are.
