Joshua 3:4 Yet there shall be a space between you and it, about two thousand cubits by measure: come not near unto it, that ye may know the way by which ye must go: for ye have not passed this way heretofore. The Israelites were entering into a new land. They were led by a new leader Joshua whom they promised to follow as they followed Moses. The Lord reminded them again how He delivered the older generation from Egypt thought the Red Sea. This time Jordan river make way for this huge group of people moving into the promised land. The instruction was given to them to have a space between the Ark of Covenant and the people. A space of 2000 cubits about the distance of 920m. The space in between enables the community to see where the Lord was leading them. It was for visibility for the multitude so that they can follow the Lord's direction.

May we learn to make space for others to see where the Lord is leading His people.
