When disobedience was the right response.

Recorded for us in Matthew 9 was two blind men that were healed by Jesus. They lived in a world of darkness for a period of time. They often imagine what it would be like to see colors. They imagined what it would be like to see their loved ones. They imagined what it would be like to be able to see to walk instead of feeling their ways around. All these seemed possible when they heard of Jesus. What he taught and what he did. They were excited when Jesus came their way. They screamed at the top of their lungs for Jesus to have mercy on them. When one sees their true condition,  it always results in prayers for mercy. Jesus healed them and specifically instructed them not to tell anyone. They went their ways praising God and shared the healing story everywhere they go. Nothing could hold their peace, not even the specific instruction from the merciful healer Jesus. Perhaps we were silent about God because we have yet to see our conditions, or yet to experience Jesus in a wonderful way. These responses resonance everywhere in the scripture. Mark 7:36-37 KJV And he charged them that they should tell no man: but the more he charged them, so much the more a great deal they published it; And were beyond measure astonished, saying, He hath done all things well: he maketh both the deaf to hear, and the dumb to speak.
Start imagining what it would be like when the power of Jesus' presence rest in you today. Can you still hold your peace?
