If God is in control of everything, then everything that happened must be His Will. This statement is not true. God gave a precious gift to mankind and this gift is choice. Throughout history, we saw that the choices someone made had greatly influenced generations. Some brought blessings and some brought destructions. In scripture, we learned that some things are not the will go to God. Adam and Eve sinned out of their own choice, Pharaoh hardened his heart and God hardened it further, King Saul disregarded the role of the priest, Judas chose to betray Jesus and the list goes on. There is a danger to believe that everything is the will of God. When we made a wrong choice, God becomes responsible because He allows it. God did not will it, neither did God willed many who had disobeyed Him and destined them to destruction. God's desire is always for the best of His creation and not the destruction of it. Ephesians 5:17 urges each of us to understand what the Lord's will is. Understanding what is not God's will allow us to make wiser choices. Choices that pleases God. Choices that make creation understand how the world was meant to be.

May we never attribute the wrongs of our own as God's will.
