Apostle Peter prayed the shortest prayer, "Save me!" He realized he was drowning. Many people are convinced somehow that they have full control of life. Peter wanted to walk on water because his Rabbi Jesus walked on water. However, when the wind and the wave of the storm intimidated him, he slowly drowned. His prayer was the result of him realizing that he was drowning. His realization of his condition caused him to turn to Jesus. The same Jesus who walked on water also calm the storm. The people on board were marveled even nature obeyed Him. There are many who understood their condition and came to experience God each day by a simple prayer, "Save me!" May we learn to understand our condition that we are sinking in life and we need Jesus. May those times our cry to Jesus be quick. He will save you because He loved you.
