Caleb and Joshua were the only 2 spies who held different viewpoints. While others saw obstacles, barriers, and defeat, Caleb and Joshua saw breakthroughs, possibilities, and victories. What extraordinary vision. That was Caleb in his 40s - midlife crisis for many. In our time anyone crossed sixty are considered elderly and should not be placed with heavy responsibility. We see how a person can still be valor at 85 years old - Caleb. He asked for land yet to be conquered and was sure he is able to drive the enemies out of the land. Caleb's faith and spirit in the Lord is a showcase of a wholehearted commitment to God. May we have faith like Caleb. Consistent, faithful, and full of valor even when age catches with us.
