What can a small cup of cold water do? Is there any value of a little hospitality? People of God must remember that God takes notice of every kind act we showed to others especially toward God's people. Every small insignificant kindness and service rendered is captured and in time rewards will be given. Most people are excited about rendering services that are significant in the eyes of men. It is the way most people work because being seen doing good works usually brings many good returns in immediate substantial ways. The Bible promised the reward for acts we deem small yet yields a big return. Just welcoming God's prophet to receive a prophet's reward shows the generosity of God our Father. That generosity, however, should cause us to love the Giver rather than the gift. Start doing something small today. Matthew 10:41-42 ⁴¹He that receiveth a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward. ⁴²And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple, verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.
