Fighter pilots are trained to fly in formation. The speed of the aircraft narrows the vision of the pilot making wingmen essential in a case of encounter enemies.
After taking off, a pilot will hover until he hears his wingman confirming his position to watch over his blind spot. "
2 is in" is usually used. He then proceeds to accomplish his mission.
In Exodus 17, there was a war broke between the Israelites and the Amalek. Moses somehow knew that the war got to do with the rod of God being held high.
He went up a hill with Aaron and Hur. When the rod of God was held high, the Israelites prevailed but when the rod goes down, the Amalek prevailed. Aaron and Hur became critical help to Moses, they held Moses's hands and even put stones to hold up Moses's hands. It would be unimaginable if Moses was at the hill alone. With no help, with no wingmen.
May we learn that it is of such great blessings to have wingmen around us when we serve the Lord. Maybe the Lord is calling us to become wingmen of another brother or sister. In that case, are we ready to say, "
2 is in"?
