ACT 9:26-27 KJV
And when Saul came to Jerusalem, he assayed to join himself to the disciples: but they were all afraid of him, and believed not that he was a disciple. But Barnabas took him, and brought him to the apostles, and declared unto them how he had seen the Lord in the way, and that he had spoken to him, and how he had preached boldly at Damascus in the name of Jesus.
Have you ever felt alone? Have you ever have your sincerely mistaken? Have you ever been doubted by people of faith?
May God send you a Barnabas. Paul was a man to be feared. He persecuted the church, threw many in jail, and seen the execution of Stephen. I would have doubted him as well if he stepped into the congregation. Yet God raised someone who took him in. Someone who believed in him. Someone willing to take the risk. Barnabas might be someone we need.
Without Barnabas, it might have been tougher for Paul. Paul turned out to be the greatest missionary of his time. He carried the Gospel far and wide. All thanks to God for Barnabas.
May God send you Barnabas in your life or perhaps be a Barnabas to someone else. We need Barnabas so much these days.
