She lost her husband while she was carrying her 3rd child. She was not educated. Her struggle to raise her 3 children led her to drown her sorrows in alcohol on many occasions. Yet as a mother, she always showed her patience and care, sometimes buying the best food and the best clothes for her children on special occasions. At the close of her life, she battled cancer for 5 long years, going in and out of treatment and stopped working only after the disease spread to the vital organs of her body.

She came to know Jesus very late in her life. She never attended church as her condition did not permit her to. She walked her life faithfully to bring up her children. Nothing adverse ever throw her out of focus with the task of raising her child.

Today, her son serve the Lord actively as a Pastor of the church. She taught him faithfulness with her life. One day when they meet again in a better place, her son is sure that she will be greater rewarded than himself.
